BlueStar is now OneDePaul - For Students

Good morning, 

We recently shared news about an upcoming change to the BlueStar advising tool. Starting today, Wednesday, March 6, BlueStar includes a number of exciting new features now available to students in the newly renamed tool--OneDePaul. Learn more about this change below.  

Why did we update and rename BlueStar to OneDePaul? 
OneDePaul provides a centralized system for access to many kinds of student academic and support services in addition to academic advising. The updated system makes navigating and being successful in college easier. OneDePaul also streamlines information sharing and communication between student support offices, offering students a seamless support experience during their time at DePaul. 

What’s new in OneDePaul? 

Help Articles 
In addition to the advising tools that already existed in BlueStar, OneDePaul offers a collection of help articles on topics from areas across the university. This collection will grow as additional university departments are added and as we learn from the questions you ask.  

Requesting Support 
When a help article doesn’t quite answer your question, instead of sending an email, you can now request support through OneDePaul.  

  • ​You can see your active requests in your online OneDePaul portal. 
  • You can communicate with the department responding to your inquiry from within your case. 

Our goal is to answer your questions in a more timely and seamless fashion, collaborating with each other behind the scenes to get you the answers you need. 

More Student Services 
In the past, BlueStar was used primarily by academic advising offices. OneDePaul has expanded and will continue to expand to add more critical student support. For example, OneDePaul now includes Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and success coaches in Academic Continuity and Engagement. 

How do I access OneDePaul? 
You can access OneDePaul from within your Campus Connect account under the OneDePaul Student Success tile.

Is there anything I need to do? 
Please log into the new system and familiarize yourself with OneDePaul’s new layout. We hope that navigating this new tool will be straightforward, but if you need help, run into a technical issue or have additional questions, please contact DePaul Central staff for help.
