Dear Faculty, Staff and Students,
At DePaul, we are continuously looking for ways to modernize our campus operations and enhance the overall experience for our community. To that end, Parking Services, in partnership with Metropolis, will introduce a new ticket-free parking system on our Lincoln Park Campus.
This updated system uses license plate recognition to streamline entry and exit from campus parking garages, making parking faster and more convenient for everyone. Changes will take place in the Sheffield Garage Dec. 22, and in the Clifton Garage at the start of Winter Quarter. Please take a few moments to review the key details below.
1. No Action Needed for Permit Holders
If you currently hold a parking permit, no action is required. Your license plate information is already registered in the new system.
2. For Non-Permit Parkers
Individuals without a parking permit will now use the Metropolis parking app to access DePaul parking garages. The app allows for seamless, contactless payment and can be downloaded at:
https://app.metropolis.io/sign-in
3. Event Parking
For those arranging parking for university or external events, please continue to submit requests through the
existing form.
Along with these changes, DePaul Public Safety has added 24/7 mobile safety patrols to monitor all parking garages and surface lots to ensure our community’s safety.
As always, our goal is to make parking on campus as simple and efficient as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to
parkingservices@depaul.edu.
Thank you for your cooperation as we implement this new system to better serve the DePaul community.
Warmly,
DePaul Parking Services
