On Sept. 4, DePaul freshmen fanned out across Chicago to take part in New Student Service Day. The event invited DePaul’s Chicago Quarter students to come together with the communities of Chicago for a day of service and reflection.
The annual event aims to strengthen students' connection to one another and provide the campus community with an opportunity to put DePaul's Vincentian mission and values into practice. Following a day spent volunteering, the freshmen return to campus to build relationships with community partners and student service organizations at the Service and Justice Fair in the Lincoln Park Quad.
