On May 31, DePaul hosted a gala honoring the School for New Learning. The event brought together university community members from across colleges and departments to celebrate the legacy of the school as it
transitions to the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
During the event, a number of attendees spoke about SNL's 47-year history on campus, its mission to the advancement of adult learning, its numerous accomplishments and the appreciation they have for long-serving faculty, staff and friends.
To date, the school has more than 10,000 alumni, including Ann Burke, Illinois Supreme Court Justice; Bertram Scott, a leader in the healthcare industry; and Sean Conlon, host of CNBC's "The Deed: Chicago."
