On Thursday, Sept. 5, DePaul faculty and staff marked the beginning of the 122nd school year during Academic Convocation at the St. Vincent de Paul Parish Church.
The university congratulated
newly tenured and promoted faculty, and recognized a number of faculty and staff
with annual awards. This year's honorees included 30 Via Sapientiae Award recipients, the highest honor to acknowledge the contributions of individuals who have served the university.
