On May 10,
DePaul University announced Dr. Robert L. Manuel will serve as its 13th president. He brings 30 years of academic excellence in higher education to DePaul and currently serves as the president at the University of Indianapolis.
During the morning program to introduce Manuel to the university community, the president-elect joined Gerald Beeson, chair of DePaul's Board of Trustees, for an armchair discussion. Following the morning's event, faculty, staff and students gathered during two welcome receptions on the Lincoln Park Campus to meet the president-elect.
