On June 9, the university recognized more than 260 faculty and staff during the 33rd annual Distinguished Service Award luncheon. Held for the first time in person since 2019, the event honors DePaul employees who have reached work anniversary milestones between 10 and 50 years in increments of five years.

President A. Gabriel Esteban recognized honorees whose service to the university ranged from 10 to 50 years.
Honorees celebrating 15 years of service stood to be recognized.
Tina Tindall stood to be recognized for her 35 years at DePaul.
Mary Jeanne Larrabee, a professor of philosophy and peace, justice and conflict studies, celebrated 45 years at the university.
Maria Hench, a content editor and producer in University Marketing and Communications, reflected on her 15 years at DePaul during the luncheon.
As one of DePaul's social media content editors, Hench took a selfie with the audience following her speech.
