Yom HaShoah: DePaul remembers the Holocaust

DePaul's Jewish Life community will gather Monday, April 17, for Yom HaShoah at the Lincoln Park Student Center, in Room 314AB, and the entire university is invited and encouraged to join in a time of remembering from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday.

Balkan literature experts come to DePaul for annual Albanian Studies lecture

Diaspora literature from the Balkans will be the focus of this year's Albanian Studies Annual Lecture on Saturday, as two European professors come to DePaul. Belfjore Qose teaches modern world literature at the University of Tirana in Albania, while Christian Voss heads the Department for South Slavic Studies at Humboldt University in Berlin.

Check out the lineup of spring BUILD workshops
Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity | April 14, 2023
The BUILD Diversity Certificate program for faculty and staff sponsored 11 workshops in the fall and winter quarters, with participants exploring topics of intersectionality, identity, anti-racism and managing conflict. Four more workshops are available in the spring quarter.

Major-league all-stars at AAA conference
Last month's American Academy of Advertising (AAA) conference turned a Denver hotel into a satellite campus of the College of Communication for a weekend: The association inaugurated Shu-Chuan (Kelly) Chu as its new president, college Dean Lexa Murphy delivered remarks during the president's reception, and several CMN faculty came, either as conference presenters or attendees.
