Faculty and students use 3D printers to make face shields, face mask covers

Health care workers treating COVID-19 patients across the nation are facing a critical shortage of personal protection equipment, especially face shields and respiratory N95 face masks. DePaul faculty and students are answering the call by using 3D printers to manufacture these much-needed supplies for hospitals in Illinois.

DePaul steps up donations amid COVID-19

As Blue Demons continue to support the community in various ways amid the coronavirus outbreak, the Department of Housing is no exception. As the department worked to help 2,650 students move out of campus housing at the end of the winter quarter, the team collected unwanted clothing, toiletries and storage containers to donate to USAgain, a textile recycling company.

The Theatre School launches Community Drama Division

This April, The Theatre School will launch the Community Drama Division. During these times of social distancing and separation due to COVID-19, the CDD has developed online classes for children ages four to 14. Classes are set to begin April 6.
