DePaul’s Cities Project awarded $3.8 million grant

The grant from the Institute of Education Sciences will allow the Cities Project, a nonprofit collaboration led by DePaul faculty, staff and students, to expand the program into more Chicago universities and public schools.

Blue Demons Showcase Treasure Trove of Academic Awards

In the 2020-21 school year, 189 Blue Demon student-athletes were recognized on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team, the most ever. One of them, Aspasia Avgeri, also was named the BIG EAST Overall Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the first DePaul student so honored by the conference.

Former DePaul athletic director Jean Lenti Ponsetto has been inducted into the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics' Hall of Fame. Ponsetto, a DePaul alumna, served the university for 42 years, 18 as athletic director.
