DePaul’s Cities Project awarded $3.8 million grant

Blue Demons Showcase Treasure Trove of Academic Awards

​In the 2020-21 school year, 189 Blue Demon student-athletes were recognized on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team, the most ever. One of them, Aspasia Avgeri, also was named the BIG EAST Overall Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the first DePaul student so honored by the conference.

Ponsetto inducted into athletic directors' Hall of Fame

​Former DePaul athletic director Jean Lenti Ponsetto has been inducted into the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics' Hall of Fame. Ponsetto, a DePaul alumna, served the university for 42 years, 18 as athletic director.
