DePaul Life Trustee Joanne Velasquez and her husband, Arthur, are helping those in need realize their academic and career aspirations through a generous $300,000 gift to fund the Velasquez Family Endowed Scholarship. The scholarship recognizes and supports high-potential graduates of Chicago Catholic high schools who wish to enroll at DePaul and who demonstrate financial need.

DePaul IDs required for dining halls
Dining Services | January 21, 2022
Chicago now requires proof of vaccination when dining or drinking indoors, a change that affects university dining locations. Students, faculty and staff must now show their DePaul ID every time they dine or drink at one of these spots. Diners may remove their mask only when they are actively eating and drinking. New rules also apply to dining guests who are not affiliated with DePaul.

In-person learning resumes across DePaul
DePaul was thrilled to welcome students and faculty back to campus Tuesday, the first day for in-person classes this quarter. Thank you to everyone for their flexibility, which allowed us to start the winter term with caution. Please remember that DePaul is asking everyone to improve the quality of masks worn on campus.
