NIH-funded study examines mono, chronic fatigue syndrome in college students

A longitudinal study from DePaul and Northwestern University followed 4,501 college students to examine risk factors that may trigger longer illness after contracting infectious mononucleosis. Funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the research appears in the journal "Clinical Infectious Diseases."

COVID-19 vaccine update

Once sufficient supplies of vaccines are available, DePaul will assist the city in ensuring equitable access of the vaccine to all members of the DePaul community.

College of Law welcomes first cohort of BA/JD 3+3 students

Last quarter, DePaul welcomed its first cohort of BA/JD 3+3 undergraduate students. A collaboration between the College of Law and departments in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and the College of Communication, the program allows students to complete their undergraduate and law degrees in six years rather than the traditional seven.

Anniversary of the Foundation of the Congregation of the Mission by Vincent de Paul

Without Foundation Day, DePaul as we know it would not exist. The university was a project of the Congregation of the Mission in 1898 to serve the children of immigrants in Chicago who needed both access to education and a chance to escape poverty. That it does, and being part of more than two million Vincentian family members worldwide is something worth celebrating.
