Nursing students administer vaccines with Chicago Department of Public Health

In collaboration with the Chicago Department of Public Health, more than 150 DePaul nursing students and 20 faculty members are volunteering to help at points of distribution throughout the city

COVID-19 vaccine update

​While the state recently expanded vaccine access to people ages 16-64 with certain medical conditions, Chicago hasn’t had enough supply of the vaccine to do the same. Beginning March 9, a vaccine site will open at the United Center to serve Illinois residents, including those in Chicago, who meet the state’s criteria for the expanded phase 1b.

DePaul receives $21 million for scholarships, homelessness institute

​Alumnus George L. Ruff and his wife, Tanya S. Ruff, have made estate and monetary gifts to the university totaling $21 million to support scholarships and DePaul’s Institute of Global Homelessness. In recognition of the gift, the institute will be renamed the George and Tanya Ruff Institute of Global Homelessness.
