This holiday season, DePaul is creating its own Christmas window tradition for the Loop Campus near the bustling corner of State and Jackson. On Nov. 7, faculty and students will debut a stop-motion animated film and 3-D window display that captures the spirit of the season and DePaul’s Vincentian mission.
This fall, DePaul was ranked as one of the top 125 national universities and also one of the country’s “most innovative schools,” according to the 2020 Best Colleges rankings published by U.S. News & World Report.
DePaul created a new Office of Gender Equity to more accurately describe the responsibilities of the Title IX Coordinator. Attorney Ann Skiffington assumed the role of director of Gender Equity (Title IX Coordinator) this fall.
The Strategic Resource Allocation Committee has begun meeting to launch the university's budgeting process for the 2020-21 academic year.
The annual benefits open enrollment period begins today, Oct. 28. Benefits open enrollment is a once-a-year opportunity for faculty and staff to evaluate their needs and enroll for benefits. New elections and changes must be made by Friday, Nov. 8.
On Monday, Nov. 11, the Office of the Provost will host "Campus Conversations: Academic Perspectives on Cannabis." The event is free and open to all faculty, staff and students. A DePaul ID card is required for entry.
On Nov. 21, the Division of Mission and Ministry will host “Explore Your Purpose,” a development workshop for staff members at DePaul. All staff are welcome to attend. RSVPs are due by Wednesday, Nov. 13.
Lyric Opera has made available special ticket rates for the DePaul community to attend November performances of "Dead Man Walking," based on the book by Sister Helen Prejean.
The School of Continuing and Professional Studies, formerly the School for New Learning, hosted a fall open house on Oct. 17.
