DePaul's second annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 13.All members of the university community are welcome to attend.
Members of the DePaul community now have the opportunity to participate with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council in a number of ways, thanks to the university’s new special consultative status with the charter. Less than 20 universities worldwide hold this status.

Cristian Corona, a third-year biology student at DePaul, knew going into college he wanted to conduct research. As an undergraduate student, his path to research was through a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates project.
This fall, Crain's Chicago Business named DePaul's Jose Padilla on its inaugural list of Notable General Counsels. In addition to general counsel, Padilla also serves as vice president and secretary for the university.

DePaul recently submitted its Preventing Sexual Violence in Higher Education Act Annual Report to the state to share university policy and data related to reports of sexual violence, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking involving students.
