All DePaul students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited to apply to be a 2022 TEDxDePaulUniversity speaker. Applications are due by Wednesday, Dec. 1, at 5 p.m. and must relate to this year's theme, metamorphosis.

Data-science Corps helps nonprofits turn data into knowledge

Five Illinois universities, including DePaul, have established the Metropolitan Chicago Data-science Corps to help meet the data science needs of the Chicago metropolitan area. Rafael Vizcaíno, finding a personal path into the field of philosophy

When Rafael Vizcaíno joined the DePaul faculty last fall, accepting what he calls “my dream job,” he was drawn in part by the Faculty Recruitment Incentive Program, which aims to bring talented academics of color to the university. Still, the largest factor in his decision was DePaul’s unique commitment to both Latin American philosophy — Vizcaíno’s primary area of research — and European philosophy.

AAUW awards fellowship to DePaul faculty
