Chicago Park District and DePaul team up to renovate South Loop Park

In its early days, DePaul was known as the little school under the 'L.' Soon, a little park under the 'L' in the South Loop will have a special connection to DePaul and Blue Demon basketball. The Chicago Park District and DePaul are teaming up to renovate basketball courts and facilities at Margaret Hie Ding Lin Park at 1735 S. State Street.

This spring, a number of Blue Demons won Fulbright U.S. Student Program, Boren and other featured scholarships. From Jordan to Taiwan, nine DePaul students and alumni will use their scholarships to study in the 2021-22 academic year across a range of disciplines.

DePaul University names Jo Smith controller

In July, DePaul welcomed Jo Smith as its controller. An experienced financial and accounting executive in higher education, Smith most recently served as associate vice president of finance at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
