In memoriam: Félix Masud-Piloto, professor emeritus in the Department of History

We are saddened to learn of the passing of Félix Masud-Piloto, a professor emeritus of history who was renowned internationally for his sharp and accurate analyses of Cuban and U.S. politics. Masud-Piloto died March 10 at age 72. May he rest in peace.​

DemonTHON raises nearly $100,000 for children's hospital

​DemonTHON - DePaul University's Dance Marathon hosted its 12th annual Dance Marathon (aka The Big Event) last Saturday in the Lincoln Park Student Center. The event celebrated the Miracle Children and Families at Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, along with more than 100 students who spent the past year raising awareness and funds for the hospital. At the conclusion of the evening, DemonTHON reported raising $96,673.92 for Lurie Children's. DemonTHON's Instagram account has a Stories collection with highlights from the event.
