The Hollywood Reporter ranks DePaul as top American film school

Melding the best of Hollywood with a Chicago-grown work ethic, DePaul's School of Cinematic Arts is rising in the rankings. The Hollywood Reporter has named DePaul among the 2022 Top 25 American Film Schools, moving it up one notch to 15th best.

DePaul supports affirmative action in Supreme Court amicus brief

DePaul has cosigned an amicus brief with 56 Catholic colleges and universities urging the U.S. Supreme Court to uphold affirmative action ahead of two upcoming cases. The brief urges the court to continue allowing institutions of higher education to consider an applicant’s race as one of many factors in admissions decisions.

DePaul Art Museum exhibition documents those who advocate for social change

An upcoming virtual exhibition through DePaul Art Museum will use documentary photography to tell the story of how everyday individuals advocated for social change across the United States. The exhibition opens Sept. 8 on the museum website and is supported in part by the Vincentian Endowment Fund.

DePaul chapter of National Association of Hispanic Journalists earns top award
The National Association of Hispanic Journalists has honored DePaul's chapter with its National Chapter of the Year award. The recognition at the 2022 NABJ-NAHJ Convention and Career Fair credited DePaul students for their leadership, community service and membership engagement.
