DePaul renames University Counseling Services, hires six new clinicians

DePaul has renamed University Counseling Services. Now University Counseling and Psychological Services, the department is staffed with six full-time clinicians dedicated to serving DePaul students' mental health needs. Two more staff members will join the team later this summer.

Students: On-campus parking permits for 2022-23
Parking Services | July 1, 2022
The university continues to subsidize parking and make it available to the campus community at a discounted rate for the 2022-23 academic year. However, due to rising operational costs and city tax expenses, the pricing of all permits will be increasing effective July 1. The university continues to work at keeping permits affordable while maintaining a viable parking operation.

Faculty examines nonviolence scholarship to illuminate 'Revelation's' resistance

"Revelation" is one of the hardest books of the Bible to read without help and has long been used to justify violence and harmful ideologies. My hope in writing "The Nonviolent Apocalypse" was to bring together the cultural knowledge that made "Revelation" comprehensible to its original hearers with modern understandings of nonviolence.
