From Chicago to Hollywood: LA Quarter launches careers in TV and film

DePaul University names Richard Wiltse vice president for Facility Operations

DePaul University Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Sherri Sidler announced Rich Wiltse has been named vice president for Facility Operations, effective March 20. Wiltse has worked for DePaul his entire career and has served as the interim vice president for Facility Operations since October 2022.

DePaul University mourns the passing of life trustee Edward Gardner
March 31, 2023
DePaul University Life Trustee Edward Gardner passed away on Monday, March 20. Gardner founded Soft Sheen in Chicago in 1964, which grew to be the largest Black-owned beauty company in the United States by the late 1980s. He was elected to the board in 1988 and became a life trustee in 1997.

Immersion students volunteer in New Orleans during Spring Break
Led by Ministry Coordinator for Vincentian Service and Immersion Abby Rampone, DePaul students visited New Orleans to do hands-on community service with the St. Bernard project, a national disaster recover and resilience organization dedicated to shrinking the time between disaster and recovery. From March 18-25, these students assisted in laying flooring in a home damaged by Hurricane Ida in 2021. Here they are pictured entering the state of Louisiana on their journey south.
