Community Partner Internship
 The Community Partner Internship places DePaul students eligible for Federal Work-Study at partner organizations across the Chicago area. The program aims to provide students with hands-on experience and practical skills in the nonprofit sector. It also enhances partnerships with community-based organizations that have a proven history of successful collaboration with the Steans Center. These paid internships are for an academic year, with the possibility of renewal for up to 4 years. Positions include administrative roles, adult literacy, youth development, or marketing and public relations within a community organization.

Requirements:

  • Work 12-20 hours a week, aligning with academic schedule
  • Federal work study eligible
  • Attend paid monthly professional development, individual and team meetings, and reflection sessions​
  • Meet the qualifications/requirements outlined in the respective job descriptions for the organization.
