Community Partners Internship
Work in Chicago-based community organizations and schools off-campus. Gain valuable PAID professional development.
The Community Partner Internship places Federal work study-eligible DePaul students at partner organizations throughout Chicago. The program aims to provide students with first-hand experience and application in the nonprofit sector. In addition, it strengthens partnerships with community-based organizations that have a consistent record of successfully partnering with the Steans Center and Egan Office. Internships are year-long and range from administrative roles, adult literacy (ESL) facilitators, youth leadership development, marketing, or public relations within a community organization.
General Summary:
This position is for DePaul undergraduate and graduate students who have exhibited a strong commitment to service and academic excellence and who seek to advance their understanding of community with a Chicago non-profit.

Requirements
- Internship is off-campus
- Work 15 to 20 hours a week
- Be federal work-study eligible (FAFSA eligible)
- Attend paid monthly professional development, team meetings, and reflection activities
- Meet the qualifications and requirements outlined in the organization's internship description
