Egan Office Urban School Initiatives Scholarship
The Egan Office Urban Schools Initiative is a community service work-study program and scholarship that allows DePaul University students to serve in Chicago’s most under-resourced schools providing direct service to schools such as classroom assistance, tutoring, mentoring, and supplemental enrichment activities. In the tradition of Monsignor John J. Egan, Student employees and scholars learn about issues that affect communities and engage directly in collaborative action research, planning, and programming to address critical urban problems and promote social justice.
The Egan Office Urban School Initiatives Scholarship at DePaul University invites current DePaul students to apply for the Egan Office Urban School Initiatives Scholarship. The Egan Office Urban School Initiatives is an award of up to $6,000.00 for DePaul University students. The Scholarship is renewable for up to 4 years contingent upon satisfactory evaluation. All DePaul undergraduate students are eligible. DACAmented and Undocumented students are highly encouraged to apply.
