Holidays at DePaul return next week with the annual Ugly Sweater Party and Tree Lighting Ceremony, set for Nov. 9. This year's celebrations also feature the inaugural Holiday Cookie Stroll on Nov. 8 in the Loop. All members of the campus community are welcome to attend.

Midterm elections in the U.S. are Tuesday, Nov. 8. We will vote to fill all 435 seats of the House of Representatives and about a third of the 100 seats in the U.S. Senate, in addition to many other state and local positions. It is important each DePaul community member exercises their right to vote and that our community engages in civil discourse and debate leading up to and after the election.

Dana Hall named interim dean for the School of Music
