Don't miss 2022 Ugly Sweater Party, Tree Lighting Ceremony

Holidays at DePaul return next week with the annual Ugly Sweater Party and Tree Lighting Ceremony, set for Nov. 9. This year's celebrations also feature the inaugural Holiday Cookie Stroll on Nov. 8 in the Loop. All members of the campus community are welcome to attend the events.

Loop Campus DePaul Center plaza

Join the Office of Student Involvement for this inaugural event on the Loop Campus. Blue Demons can stop by to indulge in a variety of cookies and can pick up a DePaul ugly sweater-themed mug.

Ugly Sweater Party

Lincoln Park Campus Quad

Get ready for the holiday season with games, snacks, photo props and more. The first 1,250 attendees will receive this year's DePaul ugly sweater.

Tree Lighting Ceremony
Wednesday, Nov. 9
4:30 p.m.
St. Vincent's Circle

Join the DePaul community during the 2022 Tree Lighting Ceremony. The ceremony will feature music from the Fullertones, remarks from DePaul President Rob Manuel and Student Government Associate President Kevin Holechko, as well as activities, snacks and caroling. The first 750 DePaul-affiliated attendees will receive a holiday scarf. 

During the ceremony, DePaul will collect warming items such as hats, gloves, socks and blankets to be donated to Chicagoans facing homelessness.
