School of Nursing relaunches BSN program, welcomes students

DePaul has relaunched its Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, increasing on-ramps into the profession and preparing the next generation of nurses. School of Nursing director Suling Li and BSN program associate director Stephanie Byrd discuss the expanded nursing program offerings.

Against a backdrop of an ongoing war in Ukraine, authoritarians taking office in countries around the world and political leaders in the U.S. accusing each other of election crimes, the Grace School of Applied Diplomacy is set to host a two-day virtual conference Oct. 13-14 titled "Diplomacy and the Future of Democracy: Transprofessional Responses to Contemporary Diplomatic Challenges."

Vincentian Heritage Week connects the DePaul community

The DePaul community celebrated St. Vincent de Paul Heritage Week across the Lincoln Park and Loop Campuses from Sept. 25 - 30. From an inaugural Loop Mini Vinny Fest to the annual St. Vincent de Paul Prayer Breakfast, the campus community gathered together for the sake of honoring the university's mission and namesake.

Blue Demons support The AIDS Foundation of Chicago
This fall, students in Instructor Brian Maj's Discover Chicago course, "The Chicago Economy at Work," helped raise funds for and participated in the AIDS Run and Walk Chicago. As part of their Vincentian service, Blue Demons raised $1,745 for The AIDS Foundation of Chicago, which supports individuals living with HIV and AIDS through case management, treatment and prevention.
