DePaul earns $1.6 million grant for Student Support Services program

The Department of Education has awarded DePaul's Division of Enrollment Management a $1.6 million grant to provide enhanced academic and mentoring programs through TRIO Student Support Services. DePaul is one of the few universities in the country to have consistently secured the grant since 1997.

University Library spaces now open for study, computer use

Limited space in the John T. Richardson Library is now available to faculty, staff and students for study and computer use. Library access will require a current DePaul ID, a reservation, and record of the #CampusClear app for that day.

DePaul Esports teams up with Gamers.Vote to support non-partisan voter initiative

Ensuring U.S. citizens are eligible to vote is a top priority for many organizations, including DePaul's esports community. DePaul Esports has entered into an official partnership with the non-partisan, nonprofit organization, Gamers.Vote, to spearhead multiple initiatives to encourage students to register to vote and take part in the upcoming election.

Dolores Huerta to speak at annual celebration

The Dolores Huerta Celebration aims to highlight contemporary issues that have an impact on the Latinx community. This year, the celebration’s namesake, Dolores Huerta, will guest speak at the event. All members of the university community are welcome to RSVP for the virtual event, set for Oct. 7.

Office of the Treasurer leadership transition update

On Sept. 22, Syracuse University announced Erin Archer has been named its next treasurer, effective Oct. 12. Tonya Baez, internal audit director, will serve as interim treasurer. A national search for DePaul's next treasurer will take place this fall.
