A network of limitless solidarity

Depaul International is remaining in place in Ukraine to serve homeless people and those who have been displaced in the Odessa, Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk territories.

With more than two million Ukrainians having recently fled their country and many millions more in harm's way, many have been asking what can be done to directly support the people of Ukraine.

There are many options, but if you are looking for an organization with an extraordinary reach into the country that is able to get donations where they are most needed, I recommend Depaul International, a charitable organization based in London.

Depaul International is remaining in place in Ukraine to serve homeless people and those who have been displaced in the Odessa, Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk territories. It also is in Slovakia working with the Ukrainian refugees pouring into that country. The organization updates its website about the current situation in Ukraine every four hours.

You can donate via credit card or PayPal at the website above by clicking on the donate link. £25, or 25 British pounds, is roughly $33 in U.S. dollars.

Depaul International is part of the global Vincentian Family of organizations serving the poor worldwide. It is trustworthy and does work of the highest quality.

Superior General, Rev. Tomaz Mavric, C.M. shared in a recent message, "The Vincentian Family in Ukraine is taking new steps to improve humanitarian aid, to coordinate it better, and to deliver it to the many areas in the country that desperately need help. Confreres and the Vincentian Family in general from the countries bordering Ukraine, Slovakia, Poland, and Italy (Hungary with Romania is a Region of the Province of Italy), are already in direct contact with the confreres and other members of the Vincentian Family there, organizing humanitarian delivery to their borders with Ukraine."

May we continue to hold the people of Ukraine and all negatively affected by this war in our prayers.

Fr. Memo Campuzano, C.M., is vice president for Mission and Ministry at DePaul University.
