DePaul will encourage conversations that are critical to Chicago and society as a whole - and provide a way for our community to participate - through a sponsorship of this year's Chicago Ideas Week.

Global thought leaders will converge on Chicago Ideas Week Oct. 16-22 to discuss a wide-range of compelling topics - from science and technology to improving communities and the most pressing issues of the day.

Organized by the nonprofit Chicago Ideas, the week of programming is billed as "the world's most accessible ideas festival" for its nominal cost to attend. Each year, Chicago Ideas attracts nearly 30,000 attendees and 200 world-class speakers who are engaged and passionate about the future of Chicago. Each of the 150 events happening during the week provide a platform to educate, inspire creativity and allow for new ideas to be discovered.

This year, DePaul will serve as one of the sponsors of Chicago Ideas Week to encourage critical discussions and provide DePaul's civic-minded faculty, staff and students an opportunity to connect with issues that are important to them.
