So far this fiscal year, faculty and staff members from across the university earned 36 external grants. Research projects and academic programs range from religious studies and community engagement to diversifying higher education faculty. Cumulatively, the grants total nearly $5 million for this fiscal year and $8 million in additional funds over the next several years.

“Congratulations to all the faculty and staff members who were awarded external grants so far this fiscal year,” says Daniela Raicu, associate provost for research. “Their work is strengthening academic excellence and innovation at DePaul, and I look forward to following their progress.”
