Faculty: Say hello to Faculty 180

Interfolio faculty 180
More information about the new technology suite is available on the Academic Affairs website
DePaul adopted Digital Measures as its faculty activity reporting system several years ago. This fall, the university will retire Digital Measures permanently. It will be replaced with Faculty 180, a component of the larger Interfolio suite of solutions that will help document the career of all faculty at DePaul  from hiring, through yearly merit reviews, to promotion and tenure processes. Digital Measures will be fully decommissioned on Nov. 1.

Transition from Digital Measures to Faculty180

As we move to the new system, the Office of Academic Affairs has been working with all colleges’ support staff in the migration from Digital Measures to Faculty 180. Any data entered by faculty in Digital Measures over the years has been transferred into Faculty 180 in periodic batches. The last push of data between Digital Measures and Faculty 180 will take place on Oct. 15. Faculty should stop entering data in Digital Measures and move to Faculty 180. Digital Measures will be fully decommissioned on Nov. 1.

Faculty 180 can be accessed from the Interfolio page on the Academic Affairs website. Please note that the data push from Digital Measures will override any data entered in Faculty 180 before Oct. 15.

Getting to know Faculty 180

To introduce Faculty 180, all faculty are welcome to attend a series of open houses held on both campuses. These meetings are intended as working sessions. If you are a Digital Measures user, you will have the opportunity to explore the interface of the new system, double check all of your data, make adjustments if needed and learn about new functionalities.

If you are not a Digital Measures user, we invite you to come with an open mind and an accessible electronic version of your most up-to-date CV. You will have the opportunity to kick-start your activity profile in the system in a supported friendly environment. The sessions will be facilitated by Interfolio staff and Academic Affairs support staff. You are free to attend any and all of the sessions, whichever best fits your schedule.

Adoption of Faculty 180

Academic Affairs encourages units to consider full adoption of Faculty 180. The Driehaus College of Business, the College of Computing and Digital Media, the College of Communication and The Theatre School, who already required faculty to input data in Digital Measures, will continue to require faculty to maintain their data in Faculty 180.
