Faculty feature: Isidore Udoh

At the International Peace Research Association conference in Sierra Leone in 2016, DePaul’s Isidore Udoh met Idorenin Eyo, a law professor from the University of Uyo in Nigeria. Since then, Udoh has cultivated more faculty connections between the University of Uyo and DePaul to provide opportunities for Blue Demons to meet and work with Nigerian students. Read more >>

Introducing DePaul’s Virtual Global Study Initiative 

The challenge of a pandemic to international education sparked ideas for innovative programs to be incorporated into Global Engagement’s existing portfolio. The new Virtual Global Study initiative provides grant funding for faculty to enhance existing classes with virtual international activities. Read more >>

Workshop on virtual exchange design and implementation gains popularity

When DePaul launched the Global Learning Experience program in 2013, it was one of few early pioneers of this pedagogy. Seven years and more than 200 GLE courses later, DePaul is now a globally established leader in the field of virtual exchange - collaborative online international learning. Read more >>

Save the date: International Virtual Exchange Conference 2021 - fully online Oct. 27-29

The International Virtual Exchange Conference is the largest and most prominent event on virtual exchange. It provides a forum for an audience of instructors, administrators, instructional designers and educational leaders from institutions around the world interested in technology, international education and new pedagogies. Winter 2021 student and faculty mobility updates

Study Abroad ran 11 programs this winter, providing 78 students with education abroad experiences. Eighty-seven percent of students participated in virtual program opportunities including internships, enrollment in online exchange programs and other study abroad programs. Read more >>
