The OpEd Project Public Voices Fellowship applications due Oct. 16

OpEd Project
DePaul is once again partnering with the OpEd Project to present the Public Voices Thought Leadership Fellowship program beginning this December. This will be the fifth cohort of the DePaul program. Some 80 faculty and staff are alumni of DePaul's OpEd Project, which welcomed its first cohort of fellows during the 2012-13 academic year.

The purpose of the program is to provide a group of diverse scholars with resources, support and skills to dramatically increase their visibility and influence as thought leaders in their universities and beyond. This leadership often takes shape as published op-eds, whose ideas influence not only academia but also the important social and political conversations of the day.

The program this year is open to all full-time DePaul faculty members, including tenure-line faculty and non-tenure track instructors and lecturers.

Fellowships will be awarded to 20 individuals who will meet four times during the 2020-21academic year. Meetings will be virtual. The deadline to apply is October 16. More information about the application process and the program is available online.

The OpEd Project at DePaul is sponsored by the College of Communication, University Marketing and Communications, and Academic Affairs.
