Last week, Trinity High School announced the appointment of Corinne Benedetto as its next president. Benedetto currently serves as DePaul's interim dean of the School for New Learning. She will remain in that role through June 30, when she retires from the university.

Benedetto joined the School for New Learning in 1998. Prior to becoming interim dean, she served as associate dean for operations and enrollment management and as associate dean of undergraduate programs. As an associate professor in SNL, Benedetto designed and taught courses focusing on human behavior and professional ethics. She is an alumna of Trinity High School, which is located in River Forest.

"I am thankful for the opportunity to lead a mission-based, women's secondary school into a position of strength for the 21st century," says Benedetto, who will assume the role of Trinity's president-elect on Jan. 22 and will become president on July 1.

The Office of the Provost is working with leaders in the School for New Learning to determine the next steps in the search for a new interim dean.
