COVID-19 vaccine update

​​The city of Chicago is offering a special opportunity for university students, parents, faculty, staff and alumni to receive their COVID-19 vaccine.

Friday, April 30 will be University Vaccination Day in Chicago. Appointments are available at the following sites:

  • Chicago State University, 9501 S. King Dr.
  • Gallagher Way at Wrigley Field, 1119 W. Waveland Ave.
  • United Center, 1724 W. Madison St.

All locations will offer Pfizer. The Chicago State University site offers Pfizer (walk up) and Johnson & Johnson (drive through). Register now by visiting www.zocdoc.com/vaccine.

All students, staff, faculty, alumni and parents are welcome. Can't make it on Friday? Many other appointment times and locations are available at zocdoc.com/vaccine.

Wear DePaul blue to your appointment to represent the Blue Demons! The city will be tracking to see which school will have the most vaccinations.

UI Health vaccine opportunity for students

In addition, UI Health is making the Pfizer vaccine available to university students. Visit the UI Health website to make an appointment to get vaccinated at Credit Union 1 Arena at 525 S. Racine Ave. Appointments are available now for timeslots on April 30; UI Health also may make appointments on other dates.
