Blue Demon Welcome, DePaul’s New Student Convocation, is back and will be held in the Lincoln Park Campus Quad on Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. All faculty, staff and students are
invited to join the university as we enthusiastically welcome our newest Blue Demons by cheering them along the New Student Cavalcade from McGrath Philips Arena to the Quad.
Blue Demon Welcome celebrates the beginning of the DePaul journey for all new undergrads including freshman and transfer students. The newest members of DePaul will formally join a proud community founded on the principles of learning, service and justice at this event.
After the formal stage program, all can attend the free Chicago Food Festival featuring Garrett Popcorn, Home Run Inn pizza, Rainbow Cone and hot dogs, and enjoy free entertainment. Every attendee also will receive a free DePaul 125th Anniversary t-shirt.
