Kick off your holiday season with DePaul

Ugly sweater party and holiday tree lighting to take place Wednesday, Nov. 7 on the Lincoln Park Campus

DPU Holidays 2018
Are you ready to get your holiday spirit on? Have you always wanted an ugly sweater for a holiday party? Here's your big chance. This year, DePaul University is starting a new tradition, and all faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. Join us on Wednesday, Nov. 7 for the inaugural DePaul Tree Lighting Ceremony at 4:30 p.m. in St. Vincent's Circle on the Lincoln Park Campus. Warm beverages and treats will be provided. All members of the university community are welcome to attend.

Prior to the tree lighting ceremony, all students are invited to attend an Ugly Sweater Party in the Quad from 2 - 6 p.m. The first 500 students to arrive will receive a free long-sleeve DePaul "ugly sweater." If a hot chocolate bar isn't enough to entice you to attend, how about a life-size snow globe for selfies? There also will be a tree decorating competition, and a stuff-a-snowman craft project, decked out in a mini-DePaul ugly sweater.

Here's the run of events. Don't miss it!
