Join DePaul This Sunday for Sundays on State

Join DePaul on Sunday, Sept. 12 on State Street for Sundays on State to meet DIBS and Coach Stubblefield, and participate in a variety of interactive activities. (Chicago Loop Alliance)

You’re invited to paint the Loop Blue Demon blue this Sunday. Throw on your favorite DePaul gear and join the university for Sundays on State on Sept. 12 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The free, interactive, city-wide block party has been transforming Chicago’s most iconic street – State Street – from Lake Street to Madison Street on Sundays throughout the summer.

For the final installment of the Chicago Loop Alliance’s summer-long festival, DePaul has a variety of fun things planned this Sunday, including:

A meet and greet with DePaul’s men’s basketball head coach, Tony Stubblefield
A spirit clinic with DePaul’s Cheer and Dance teams at 1 p.m.
Freeze dance and photos with DIBS at 3 p.m.
Several interactive experiences and giveaways
Representatives from DePaul’s Office of Admissions and Aid, Office of Alumni Relations, and University Athletics.

The Sept. 12 event will also have live performances, art demonstrations, giveaways, food and drinks, and pop-up shops. For more information, take a look at Sunday’s full line-up.
