Last week, Facility Operations reopened all grassy areas on the Lincoln Park Campus Quad. The Quad reopened to foot traffic in late August upon completion of summer repairs and improvements. Unfortunately, sections of sod began to die, so some grassy areas have been fenced off since early September, while sidewalks remained open.

Facility Operations thanks the university community for your patience as this additional work was completed during the first two months of fall quarter.

While the Quad was closed for repairs over the summer, the university improved the space by:
  • Adding Wifi access points
  • Installing more lighting
  • Completing additional landscape work
  • Replacing deteriorating sections of concrete

We look forward to upcoming gatherings in the Quad, including the Nov. 11 tree lighting.
