Older DePaul email addresses to be retired this summer

Email addresses that end with "@mail.depaul.edu" (formerly issued to students prior to BlueM@il) are being retired this summer. Now is the time to backup and migrate any and all data connected to these accounts, including email and Microsoft Office files.

As the university retires these addresses, email, data in services like OneDrive, and software such as Office desktop apps accessed by logging in with an @mail.depaul.edu email address will be deactivated and deleted this summer.

Please migrate all data before July 26, as it will be permanently deleted. Information Services will not be able to recover any lost data after these email addresses are retired.

• If you are a current DePaul student, most of the same software and services are available through your BlueM@il account (username@depaul.edu).
• We have documented the process of manually migrating your email, contacts and data from @mail.depaul.edu accounts to other accounts.
• DePaul alumni who wish to retain a university email address may sign up for an @alumni.depaul.edu address.
