Effective Monday, Jan. 3, as mandated by the city of Chicago, individuals 5 years of age and older are required to show proof that they are fully vaccinated - as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption accompanied by a negative test result to dine or drink indoors.

In accordance with the new mandate, all students, faculty and staff will be required to show their DePaul ID every time they dine or drink in one of the university's dining locations. The DePaul community does not need to show their vaccination card, medical or religious exemption letter, or negative test result upon entry because of the university's vaccine and testing requirements.

Dining guests who are not affiliated with DePaul will be required to show their vaccination card with identification or a valid exemption letter and proof of a negative test within 72 hours of their on-campus visit. A photocopy of the vaccination card, a digital record, such as a photograph, or a printed record from a vaccine provider will also be accepted. Examples of acceptable identification include a driver's license, non-driver government ID card and passport.

To Take Care DePaul, the university's mask safety measures are still in place. Diners may only remove their mask when they are actively eating and drinking.
