They are passionate artists, scholars, scientists, leaders, mentors and innovators. With a relentless focus on the greater good, their work invigorates intellectual inquiry, fuels discovery and strengthens the teaching and learning environment at the university. In support of DePaul's belief that the quest for knowledge is at the foundation of the university and the purpose that unites teacher and student, the University Research Council created the annual Spirit of Inquiry Awards. The award honors specific research, scholarly or creative achievements that exhibit commitment to a spirit of creative inquiry. Congratulations to this year's award winners: - Shayna Connelly, associate professor in the Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media
- Leonard Jason, professor in the College of Science and Health
- Bin Jiang, professor in the Driehaus College of Business
- Lisa Sigel, professor in the College of Liberal Arts and Socials Sciences
The Spirit of Inquiry Awards will be conferred in September in conjunction with Academic Convocation.
