Tickets to the May 4 TEDxDePaulUniversity event are now on sale and they are first come first serve, so get yours before they sell out. (University Marketing and Communications) Tickets are now on sale for TEDxDePaulUniversity on May 4, 2022, in the Holtschneider Performance Center from 1 to 3 p.m. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased through Eventbrite.
For its sixth year, TEDxDePaulUniversity will once again transform the Holtschneider Performance Center, a world-class facility on the Lincoln Park Campus, into a platform for “ideas worth spreading" as the speakers tackle this year's theme, “Metamorphosis."
The TEDxDePaulUniversity experience includes plenty of opportunities for audience engagement and fun. Previous years' events featured a balloon sculpture artist and guest performances. 2022 attendees can expect more artistic and interactive experiences that engage the mind and highlight this year's theme, giveaways and guest performances from the DePaul community.
Get to know the speakers
The 2022 TEDxDePaulUniversity's six speakers are:
- Isaiah Boozer, an undergraduate student in The Theatre School
- Joseph Chen, a licensed clinical psychologist and associate professor in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies
- Liam Heneghan, a professor and former chair in the College of Science and Health
- Desirie McKay, a licensed clinical social worker and field education coordinator in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
- Mari Oliver, an undergraduate student in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences
- Carlos Roques, an undergraduate student in the College of Computing and Digital Media
