Jaimie has been at DePaul since 2019, and in higher education since 2014. She was the academic advisor for Biological Sciences and Neuroscience until 2022, when invited to take on the newly created role of Neuroscience Administrator and Student Success Coordinator. Jaimie holds a M.S. in Academic Advising from Kansas State University ('14), a B.A. in International Studies: World Religions from Illinois College ('12) and an A.A. from Lincoln Land Community College ('10). She has an extensive history of leadership, presentations, and publications with NACADA (the Global Community for Academic Advising,) and ILACADA (the Illinois Academic Advising Association), and also serves as Professional Development Chair for the DePaul Academic Advising Network (DAAN). Jaimie comes from a tiny, rural town called Golden Eagle, Illinois, situated on a peninsula between the Illinois and Mississippi rivers, where residents use ferry boats as a daily means of travel to "civilization." She enjoys golf, hiking, fishing, and everything Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Game of Thrones.
