Crossing Zones

January 15 – March 13, 1999

Crossing Zones features works by six contemporary artists (Peter Drake, Ik-joong Kang, Michael Piazza, Raul Quintanilla, Michal Rovner, and Canan Tolon) that explore the nature of geopolitical and cultural borders and their impact on human relations and personal identity. This international exhibition is presented in conjunction with a university-wide humanities colloquium on cultural identity entitled "Culture at the Edge: Tension and Promise.​"
