T
he Learning Studio is DePaul Art Museum’s interdisciplinary and intergenerational education program. Centering shared discovery models and empathic learning experiences, the Learning Studio activates DPAM’s permanent collection and exhibitions—which expand traditionally narrow views of the art historical canon—with three primary aims: to develop hands-on arts programming with a multi-generational audience; to provide unique and practical teaching resources to artist educators, especially in Chicago Public Schools; and to serve as a civic center for the interdisciplinary exchange of ideas. The Learning Studio is a partnership between the DePaul Art Museum and The Stockyard Institute.
