More than forty images by the Afghani photojournalist Zalmaï document the uncertainty of life in ambiguous territories: Mali, Indonesia, the Philippines, Afghanistan, and the Central African Republic. Landscapes, war zones, even hospitals appear menacing, and the dispossessed human figures inhabiting them so fragile that survival itself comes to seem miraculous. Organized by the Musée de Elysée, Lausanne, Switzerland.
Eclipse is an Umbrage editions traveling exhibition.
