New Objectivity: Artistic and Political Struggle in the Weimar Republic

No events so marked the course of the twentieth century as those surrounding the birth and development in the Third Reich, its military expansion, and its indescribably inhuman racial theories and practices. This exhibition of drawings and prints by German artists in the 1920s, examined the short-lived New Objectivity movement, which on the basis of overlapping interests in style and content drew together artists from a wide political spectrum.​
