Santeros: A Living Tradition in American Art from the Southwest

January 10 – April 10, 2008

The religious art of creating images of saints (Santos) in the Southwest area of the United States derives from the traditions of the early Spanish settlers in the region. This exhibition of over ninety works from the distinguished collection of Chuck and Jan Rosenak presented works by artists whose spiritual engagement is the impetus for their unique artistic expression.

The Vincentian Endowment Fund generously provided support for the exhibition and related programs.
